Chris Parker
Chris Parker is a highly experienced management trainer, business consultant, lecturer and writer. He began his study of interpersonal and intrapersonal communication in 1976. It became a lifelong study that has underpinned over three decades of work in a variety of professional roles and contexts. He has provided communications and creativity training to a wide range of clients including blue-chip organisations, LEAs, public and private leisure providers, sportsmen and women, politicians, actors and healthcare professionals. He has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes throughout the UK and Europe, and has worked with many individuals to help create personal and/or professional change.
Chris is currently Principal Lecturer in Sport and Leisure Management at Nottingham Trent University.

Lloyd Pettiford
Born in Manchester in 1966, Lloyd studied and worked in various parts of the world before settling in the East Midlands, where he is now Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities at Nottingham Trent University. His publications include books on international relations and e-learning, and he is the author of the best-selling football volume Euro 2004: The Total Guide.

Mark Bradley
Originally from Stanley, Mark gained a degree in Spanish before embarking on a career that has embraced, among other things, homeless campaigning, haute cuisine and stand-up comedy. He runs his own business - Mark Bradley Projects Ltd - aiming to push customer service into popular culture through highlighting the business, customer and employee benefits. He appears regularly on BBC TV and Radio, and writes customer service columns for a number of newspapers and business magazines. Mark is also lead assessor for the national service excellence awards.

Peter Sedgwick
Born in Walsall, Peter graduated in German from Southampton University before embarking on a career in HR and training in a wide variety of organisations and roles. He is an established and very successful trainer of pet dogs, working with hundreds of dogs and their owners over the years. He runs his own company and writes regularly in dog magazines.

Richard Cundill
Richard was born in Hull in 1961. After leaving school he set out on a career in banking. However, since being lent a Slade single in 1972 his overriding interest has always been popular music, and he has subsequently developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of most musical genres and a record and CD collection to match. The Song of The Soul is Richard’s first foray into the world of the music biography.

Ronan Fitzsimons
Ronan Fitzsimons was born in 1964 and grew up in the North East of England. He studied at the universities of Sheffield, Nottingham Trent and Manchester, and has had jobs as a translator, football coach, oven-scrubber and cockle salesman. He now works in higher education. His publications include a variety of language-learning books and the official biographies of Decca Wade and of The Toy Dolls.
